Class K: Ordinary Residents
Review requirements, fees, payment methods, and notes for Class K permit applications.
Requirements
- Original Authorization Letter for KenyaLink Facilitators Limited (if using their services).
- Copy of Immigration Status if currently in Kenya.
- Documentary proof of assured annual income (minimum USD 24,000 per annum).
- Bank statements must be from a local Kenyan bank account.
- Duly filled and signed Form 25.
- Applicant must fill 'Personal Particulars' and Part 3.
- Original cover letter stating retirement intent in Kenya.
- Confirm investments abroad to support stay.
- Undertake not to accept paid employment.
- Copies of the National Passport.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
Fees
- Processing Fee: KES 20,000
- Issuance Fee: KES 250,000 per year

Security Bond
- Submit the Security Bond and Security Bond receipt to Immigration.
